For the second stage, Sunna Creative captured the riders of the Tour de France from the Montjuïc in Barcelona. Here, the final kilometres unfolded in an atmosphere full of energy, passion and cheering fans. The cyclists were having fun, hyping up the crowd, and fighting through the heat. Surrounded by an amazing crowd, these pictures tell a story of an epic spectacle that defined the final kilometres of the second stage of the Tour de France 2026.
Stage 1: Team Time-Trial
The opening stage of the Tour de France Grand Départ brought a different kind of challenge to Barcelona. With speed, precision, and teamwork at the centre of the race, the team trial created a powerful setting for dynamic cycling photography. As a local photographer in Barcelona, it was also racing against the clock for Sunna Creative to get in position at different key locations at the right time. The results not only show insane speed and collective effort, but also some of Barcelona's iconic landmarks.
